24 HOURS TO EMPOWER BIKE RIDE

This is an event that the Environmental Science Club is putting on March 5th and 6th that I think would be interesting to cover. If you are interested in covering this event, let me know!

We still have five more issues coming out for the semester!

Hi! I hope you are having a great day and thanks for taking the time to read The Accent's Campus Editor blog!

So if there are any campus events you would like to cover for the paper, just let me know! Our meetings are every two weeks, so there are plenty of opportunities for you to be able to participate!
I am really looking forward to tomorrow because it will be our first staff meeting of the Spring semester. I already know some Creative Writing and Environmental Science events that I think would be really great for people to cover in upcoming issues. Of course any other pitches for articles will definetely be met with open ears.
For this last issue, I went to the Youth Legacy Awards and I am going to be writing about the Blackout at Rio Grande that's coming up later this month.
One of the best things I have noticed about having this position at the paper is the amount of events we have going on at our campuses. It's been a real eye-opener to see all the great things that are going on. I really encourage people to get involved with the paper because you will be given an opportunity to attend events that you might not otherwise known were going on. It's made me really appreciate ACC even more.

Let me know if you have any events that you think need covering here on campus! Better yet, attend a staff meeting and tell The Accent all about it! We really encourage the participation of people who are committed to providing accurate, timely and interesting news coverage.
